21 June 2008 Within the darkened halls of the Brookfield Mental Health Institute, the owner, head psychiatrist and criminal master mind Doctor Lawrence Dream sat at the end of a long table. Surrounded by his cohorts in his nefarious affairs, Dr. Dream rose from his seat and raised a glass of wine. “A toast.” He said. “Numbuh 2030 is Dead!” - “How?” Dr. Dream spun around to face the bound Numbuh 2030. “How are you doing this?” Glancing down from where he was suspended in the air, Numbuh 2030 met Dr. Dream’s stare and smiled. “Through the H.E.A.D.S.E.T. of course.” “But I have the H.E.A.D.S.E.T. For goodness sake I’m wearing the blasted thing.” The Teen Ninjas’ adult benefactor lightly tapped the piece of 2x4 technology strapped against the side of his head. “Now the truth Nolan! The truth!” “It’s the truth. The absolute truth.” Numbuh 2030’s smile turned mean. He glanced up out of the corner of his eyes and met the stares of those in attendance, catching Prom Queen’s gaze.

To the boy, the Police Station looked more like a circus, well, whatever that was. There were big people, tall people, people with piercings all over their face and then there were the men and women of the 13th precinct, hard at work booking said circus performers.
The boy walked up to the front desk, the officer manning it was burly and disinterest, as if his mind was somewhere else.
“Excuse me sir.” The boy spoke up. “I need some help.”
“Take a seat over there.” The officer jabbed a thumb in the direction

By now one should probably have learned to accept the implications of a sprawling infinite number of realities that span from slight insignificant deviations to the unreconcilable.
The tale of Numbuh 2030 is a familiar enough, it’s been retreaded enough times to have the core concepts mapped out. The kid who’d become Numbuh 2030, sometimes Nolan York, sometimes Nolan Ackerman, they’d arrive to Rhode Island at the impressionable age of eight, their head already filled with tales and expectations of the Kids Next Door. They would seek out the local Sector Q for recruitment and become involved with the ongoing conflict between

He didn’t live too far from his Middle School. But, given the average time it took for him to cross the distance in-between, it didn’t afford him much to sight see. Nolan took off running. In ten minutes he would be in his homeroom class, partaking in the inert social life he’d created due to devoting his life to a now defunct child run organization.
But in five minutes the bell would ring and he’d be late.
It was always a race against time in the KND. A member of Sector Q and then a member of the KND counter intelligence unit, The Prospectors, Nolan had become used to time’s stare burning in the back of his sku

After calamity involving a welp from another world had tried to smash known realities into one another, many of the multiverses citizens had come to find themselves in conflict with one another.
Following the threat of universal extinction, those left standing in the aftermath found the time to gather their bearings as they await to return to their native worlds.
For two amongst the gathered, however, this proved to be the time to share words.
This hadn’t been the first time either had stared at a cracked reflection of themselves.
However, this was probably the only time they’d been granted the mercy of conversation over fisti
